My studio on Maiden Lane is half a block from the World Trade Center site. In the ensuing weeks after 9/11 my street became a public forum for the evolving emotions of New Yorkers as well as people who traveled here to see it with their own eyes. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists.
